Designer unveils wooden light bulb
Marrying traditional Japanese craft techniques and energy-efficient lighting technology, designer Ryosuke Fukusada creates an LED bulb wrapped in a thin wooden shell that, yep, glows.
“Über comic/esports/film/drink geek, creative & columnist writer, purveyor of revelry, cocktail alchemist & time-jockey” Austin Hartman of Brooklyn stopped by Frederator New York to talk cartoons. I couldn’t help but notice his Finn neé Pen tattoo, which he happily pointed out he got in 2007(!) based on the online posting of the original short Pen made for Nickelodeon. Talk about hip!
